What if I have children?
Children are a vital part of our community, and we want to help them to worship and grow with God. Your children are always welcome in the church, and will never be frowned upon for joining in noisily, having a good fidget, or exploring the church. It is their space to worship in as much as anyone else's. Jesus told us that the kingdom of heaven belonged to the little ones, and we think the best way to discover what that means is to encourage them to be included in our worship.
Of course, some services will be a better fit for kids than others. Messy Church is a great place to start, with a focus on worship for all ages. At the 11am Holy Communion service, everyone is welcome to worship in the way that suits them. For little ones we have a breakout space at the back of the church to stretch small legs!
For children in school years 4 and above, we also run a fortnightly youth group in term time. For more information, click the button below:

What else is going on?
We are a vibrant community, and there is always plenty going on. For a fuller picture of all that is happening in the life of the church, have a look at our monthly newsheet.
Facilities at St JamesCan I park?
Yes, we have easy parking available in the car park on Church Road. Do you have a toilet? Unfortunately there is no toilet in the church, but we do have both a disabled access toilet and baby changing facilities very nearby in the church room and these are always available during during 11am services and Messy Church.
