Our Church

St James the Great church has been the iconic and spiritual heart of our village for over 700 years. Like all old buildings, it needs constant care and attention. To ensure it stays in good shape now, and for generations to come, in 2025 we are:

• Mending dangerously damaged roof crenelations and finials
• Repairing interior walls, where damp is coming through
• Maintaining our unique oak pillars, pulpit and choir stalls
• Repairing our exceptional historic stained glass

We expect all this specialist work will cost in the region of £100,000, and we are very grateful for your financial support.

How to donate

There are three ways you can make a donation.
Use the online giving page here. (Please also fill in a Gift Aid Form, download below) Please then send an email headed ‘Building Fund’ to [email protected] so we can acknowledge your kind gift, and keep track of all the donations

 By cheque payable to ‘Radley PCC’. Post this in the Post Box on the wall of the Church Room, with your email address on the back.

Remember, if you are a UK tax-payer, you can increase your donation by 25% with Gift Aid. If you are donating via the online giving page, simply fill in the Gift Aid details there.
